The DJ at the Ultima opening party is Jackson Fourgeaud from Warp Records, more familiar by his musical alias Jackson & his computer band. The highly acclaimed DJ and producer Jackson Fourgeaud (b. 1982) was born and raised in Paris, but noe lives in Berlin. As an artist, he usually goes by the name of his musical alias: Jackson & his computer band. The band consists only of Jackson himself and has released several records on the prestigious label Warp Records.
The Ultima DJ set will, as always when Jackson is in control of the music, be filled with dance music from the cutting edge. Jackson’s wish to please the crowds does not contrast his «anything goes»-attitude to the craft of DJing. Jackson’s music can be described as an orgy in style and a psychedelic celebration of conflict. He has also done a lot of remixes, from Air, Justice and Femi Kuti to Vanessa Paradis.
