Mount Kimbie
British dubstep duo Mount Kimbie consist of the 22-year-olds Dominic Maker and Kai Campos. With an eclectic approach to their craft, the two make magic tunes in the crossroads between hip hop, ambient, electronic music and indie rock from their room in Peckham, South London.
When their first and so far only EP Maybes was released at the Hotflush label in February 2009, enthusiast bloggers and internet magazines quickly awarded it “record of the year” trophies, despite that just two months of the year 2009 had passed.
