A cultural night with Cikada Ensemble where anything can happen.

Ennea’s domein is written by Dutch composer Robin de Raaff for nine musicians, as well as having the number nine as its fulcrum. In Nachts, Lene Grenager ties a link between the sonority of the poem Nachts by the Austrian poet Georg Trakl and the fairy tale A Summer’s Night in Krokskogen by Peter Christen Asbjørnsen. Riis by Laurence Crane is dedicated to Anton Lukoszevieze, the cellist in the London-based ensemble Apartment House, and the title derives from the Danish cyclist who was found guilty of doping after winning the Tour de France in 1996. Four Miniatures marks Crane’s interest in short, concentrated formats. Estonia reflects Crane’s fascination for Estonians whose first names and surnames both consist of four letters.
