Blekk i mørket, blekk i lyset #5

Concert dessiné with Inger Hannisdal and Karen Keyrouz

Sunday 14 September, at 14:00–14:40
20–300 kr

Paper, singing strings, flowing ink and dancing shadows open the door to something beyond words.

Both children and adults feel fear. Sometimes we are afraid for no reason, like when we are startled by a spider or a dark shadow. Other times, something is genuinely dangerous – and fear helps us find safety. And sometimes we are worried simply because we do not know what is going to happen. Is there a monster coming to get us?

In this performance, illustrator and graphic novelist Karen Keyrouz and violinist Inger Hannisdal invite both children and adults to a magical drawing concert with ink, water and other visual materials, violin tones, cassettes and glass. Strange figures appear, drops of ink transform into people, monsters, cities and landscapes.

The concert is part of Barnas Ultima-dager  (BUD) – the festival’s own programme for its youngest audience (but adults are more than welcome too)! At BUD, you can discover contemporary music and exciting new sounds through concerts, performances and workshops.
