This event in collaboration with by:Larm brings together some of today’s most adventurous sound explorers. The performances take place at Ensemble, one of Oslo’s hippest clothing shops, and at the scruffy and beloved Indigo, in Ingensgate.

21.00 Dania weaves neo-ambient soundscapes from vocal fragments, processed field recordings and meditative atmospheres. Her music explores identity in a fractured post-colonial world, and has been releases on Geographic North and Ecstatic, with performances at Café OTO, Sonic Acts and Sónar.
Eli Keszler combines percussion, composition and electronics into an avant-garde sound spanning experimental electronica, jazz and stretched ambient forms. A Grammy-nominated artist, he has released solo records on LuckyMe, Shelter Press and ESP-DISK’, and has performed alongside Oneohtrix Point Never, Laurel Halo and Laure Prouvost.

00.00 (doors open 23.45) Brian Bamanya (aka Afrorack) fuses traditional African rhythms with modular synthesis. As creator of the continent’s first DIY modular instrument, he transforms locally sourced materials into vibrant sonic architectures. For this dance-focused evening, he will rework homeland grooves using drum machines and synthesizers, celebrating the vitality of Africa’s underground music.
