A multi-talented drummer comes to your emotional rescue.

Øyunn is a drummer, artist and performer who works across artforms. With a background in improvisation, she creates alternative pop/hiphop/indie, where she sings, raps and plays drums.

For Ultima she is making a new work featuring film, performance and music, with an expanded band including modular synths, trumpet, bass and drums.

She will take advantage of the unique space offered by MUNCH to dive into themes such as relationships, support/oppression/hierarchies, anxiety and the need for connection to others. In collaboration with film makers and fellow musicians, this will be expressed musically and visually.

As well as her own music, in 2021 this versatile artist appeared as an actress and musician in Tour de Chambre at the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen, where she also composed the music for the performance. She has contributed drums and vocals on a number of releases and tours in recent years, including Efterklang, Bugge Wesseltoft and Troels Abrahamsen.
