Ultima opens with a bang at the centre of Norway’s musical hothouse, showcasing performances, sound installations, workshops, talks, research presentations and much more. The programme is created with students and staff from Norges Musikkhøgskole, Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo and Institutt for Musikkvitenskap. It also includes contributions by artists taking part in other festival events, and a film programme by nyMusikk.

Our presenters Torgny Amdam and Tanja Orning and our KOMPASS-guides accompany you through the adventurous musical journey that awaits you at NMH.

Doors open at 16.30. Bar and food at the cantina.

Full programme can be found here.

NB: Drop into Ultima’s dedicated travel bureau outside the school to get info on the day’s events, book places on workshops, and fetch your day programme.
