A new concept from Ultima! Over three evenings we have invited leading Norwegian independent record labels to take over the bar/lounge space at Vinterhagen. Each label will host a listening session previewing new music and selecting tracks from their back catalogue, in a mix of listening and chat with the labels’ artists.
21.9 Hubro Founded by Andreas Meland, Hubro is home to the hugely eclectic talents of Norway’s younger pool of talents within the fluid worlds of jazz, experimental, folk, post-rock and improvisation.
The conversations this evening will be with Erlend Apneseth, Stephan Meidell and Maja Ratkje who will be releasing a new album on Hubro in October. This evening you will have the exclusive opportunity to listen to and buy the album a whole month before its release. You will also meet Benedicte Maurseth, who will talk about her award winning album Hárr, as well as a new exciting project.
